Nintendo's strategy is short-term, sell as many Wii consoles as it can until the fad dies out.
Sony's strategy with the PS3 is a long-term strategy that requires a lot of money and a very powerful machine, the PS3 will likely still be around and kicking ass in the next 5-10 years just like the PS2.
Sony is fixing everything I didn't like about the PS3, fast!
First Sony fixed the backwards compatibility issues, then the upscaling problems, and now this!
The future looks bright for the PS3 in 2007, with Killzone 2, MGS4, Blu-ray possibly killing of HD-DVD once and for all, and probably 15-20 million PS3's shipped this year.
Now if only Microsoft would come up with a larger Hardrive and a price cut before the PS3 gains too much momentum..
at trying to conceal that you are a fanboy.
You beat me by 7 minutes...I was going to post this too!
Do I have to use the ignore feature on you?
Since early 2001, and have never had a problem with it.
I missed that part, never mind then, everything looks good for now.
I like it, although I also which this site would have a forum, so all the heated discussions could go there.
This is after all, the Greatest Game Ever Made, according to GameRankings.com
http://www.gamerankings.com...
heard of this game up until now, and I have an Xbox 360 as well as a PS3, so I don't know what you're talking about?
I just found this news article interesting and decided to post it.
But their Xbox 360 division is still raking in loses.
there is no way this game can come over to the Nintendo Wii now..lol.
MicroGamer, you need to stop being such a fanboy.
MicroGamer, you need to stop being such a fanboy.
stupid PS3 bashing blog...not real news.
Lame.
There is both Supply and demand.
lol...thanks for the laugh.
But the Wii can't handle any of those graphically advanced games, sorry buddy..lol
Sony is targeting a different demographic than Nintendo, I thought even YOU would know that. ;)
is look at his past posts to know that MicroGamer is an MS fanboy.
How xbox 360 fanboys can look at this news and think that the PS3 is dead.
I view price cuts as good news for the PS3, about 110 million people may want to buy a PS3 once the price goes down and once it gets better games out.
In 2007 there are big blockbuster titles scheduled to come out on PS3, including Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Motorstorm, and Grand Theft Auto 4.
The games will keep coming in 2008 with Final Fantasy X...
